PA Team Wins Greco-Roman Schoolboy National Championship Duals

Pennsylvania won the final three bouts by pin to rally from a 36-24 deficit to beat the defending champion Illinois in the finals of the Schoolboy National Greco-Roman duals by a 39-36 score.

Mifflin County’s own Quentin Milliken is a member of both the Freestyle and Greco-Roman teams, wrestling at 152 pounds.

Milliken scored a 1:36 fall over Mason Kroening in the finals match.

Milliken Earns Double Schoolboy Titles at PA States

Quentin Milliken is in front of the kid who’s head is aligned perfectly with the stone column at the right.

Quentin Milliken was a double winner in the 152-pound Schoolboy division at the Pennsylvania State Freestyle and Greco-Roman championships last weekend.

Milliken, ranked fifth in nation in Freestyle by USA Wrestling, is competing in the Schoolboy National Duals this week in Indiana.

In addition to Milliken, Hayden Hidlay is ranked No. 1 in the country at 126 by USA Wrestling in the Cadet Division.

Allison and Hidlay Capture PAWF Titles; Hidlay Also Greco Champ

Hayden Hidlay and Nic Allison came away with championships at the Pennsylvania Wrestling  Championships last weekend.

Hidlay claimed the 126-pound Cadet championship in both freestyle and greco with a 10-0 tech fall over Cameron Coy of Penn Trafford and a 10-3 win in the greco-roman finals, while Allison defeated Hunter Johnson for the 50-pound Intermediate championship in an all Mifflin County final.

Quentin Milliken, current 8th grader at MCJHS and Schoolboy 152 lbs., is currently in camp at UPJ with Team PA preparing to compete in the National Schoolboy Duals in Indianapolis later this week.

Hidlay qualified for the Cadet Nationals in Fargo, ND next month. Here are Hayden’s results from the weekend:
