District 6 Media Guide Coming

Just a heads up: I’m in the planning stages of creating a media guide for all of District 6 Wrestling. The guide will feature team previews, returning starters, D6 history and feature stories.

I will be taking pre-orders in early October. The front cover features Mifflin County state champion Trent Hidlay.

Hidlay Second at 170 in Latest FloWrestling High School Rankings

The latest FloWrestling high school rankings are out and Mifflin County’s Trent Hidlay comes in ranked second in the country at 170 pounds behind Aaron Brooks of Maryland.

Penn State has five of the top ten commits in the P4P rankings:  No. 2 Roman Bravo-Young, No. 3 Gavin Teasdale, No. 4 Travis Wittlake, No. 5 Michael Beard and No. 10 Seth Nevills.

NC State to Wrestle Dual Meet in Italy

For the first time in NCAA wrestling history, a dual meet will be wrestled outside of North America when North Carolina State, with former Mifflin County state champion Hayden Hidlay, takes on Oklahoma State in Napoli.
