Allison and Hidlay Capture PAWF Titles; Hidlay Also Greco Champ

Hayden Hidlay and Nic Allison came away with championships at the Pennsylvania Wrestling  Championships last weekend.

Hidlay claimed the 126-pound Cadet championship in both freestyle and greco with a 10-0 tech fall over Cameron Coy of Penn Trafford and a 10-3 win in the greco-roman finals, while Allison defeated Hunter Johnson for the 50-pound Intermediate championship in an all Mifflin County final.

Quentin Milliken, current 8th grader at MCJHS and Schoolboy 152 lbs., is currently in camp at UPJ with Team PA preparing to compete in the National Schoolboy Duals in Indianapolis later this week.

Hidlay qualified for the Cadet Nationals in Fargo, ND next month. Here are Hayden’s results from the weekend:

 Freestyle (Friday and Saturday)

11-1 TF (2:01) over Jordan McGonigal, Shaler

12-1 TF (1:24) over Cody Garland, Hanover

10-0 TF (1:29) over Evan Fidelibus, Easton

10-0 TF (1:22) over Dylan Chatterton, Central York

13-3 TF (1:45) over Dominic Stabilito, Neshaminy

10-0 TF (3:35) over Cameron Coy, Penn Trafford

·         Greco (Sunday)

o    8-1 TF over Fidelibus

o    10-3 TF over Chatterton
