Hartsock and Dippery in Preseason EWL Rankings

The 2017-18 Preseason Eastern Wrestling League rankings have a decidedly local feel to it – thanks to two local wrestlers on the list.

Lewistown born Buck Dippery, a two-time state runner-up at Central Dauphin, and former Mifflin County standout Trey Hartsock made the EWL preseason rankings released yesterday.

Dippery comes in ranked second behind Clarion’s Brock Zacherl at 141, while Hartsock is fifth at 184 pounds. Dippery transferred from Rutgers to Rider and Hartsock begins his redshirt freshman year for the Bald Eagles.

Rider is first in the team ratings with Edinboro and Lock Haven rounding out the top three.
