Hayden Second, Trent Third at Journeymen Freestyle Classic

Hayden Hidlay came up short in the Journeymen Classic Freestyle 160-pound finals against Arslan Garazhiev of Russia, while younger brother Trent Hidlay placed third in the same weight class – defeating Nick Carr by a 10-0 technical fall.

Hayden dropped an 8-2 decision to Garazhiev, the 2014 Russian National Champion. Garazhiev scored a takedown in the first and three sets of two-point exposures in the second period. Hidlay scored a two-point exposure in the second as well.

In the first meeting between the Gruesome Twosome in competition, Hayden came away with the 15-2 victory.
