Hidlay Goes 2-for-2 at PAWF; Captures Greco Title

Trent Hidlay made it 2-for-2 at the PAWF championships at Chambersburg by winning the 170-pound Greco-Roman championship on Sunday.

Hidlay defeated Jake Hendricks of Wyoming Seminary by a 5-0 score in the finals. Hidlay beat Hendricks, who finished fifth at the National Prep championships this year, in the freestyle final on Saturday.

Hidlay made it to the finals with a forfeit victory in the quarters, followed by a 12-2 technical fall over Kevin Edwards of Avon Grove in the semifinals.

With title in hand, Hidlay qualified for the Greco Junior Nationals in Fargo in July.
