Hidlay Still Alive at Super 32 Championships

Mifflin County’s own Hayden Hidlay went 4-1 on day one of the Super 32 Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Hidlay, competing in the 132-pound weight class, pinned David Valdez of New Jersey in 1:39 and Ryan Snow of New York in 4:50, before dropping a 2-0 decision to Chase Zemenak (Nazareth).

In the consolations, the Husky sophomore defeated Bryce Meredith of Wyoming 4-2, and Luke Weiland of Montana 2-0.

Hidlay faces Zehlin Storr of Michigan kicking off day two.
