Loht to Wrestle for D-3 National Championship

Messiah wrestler and former Indian Valley standout, Kaleb Loht, will wrestle for the NCAA Division III National championship tonight at 8 p.m. after defeating Michael Ferinde of Johnson & Wales by a 10-3 decision in the 141-pound semifinals.

Loht (47-1) takes on Matt Adcock of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the finals tonight at 8 p.m. Adcock (30-9) defeated Charles Banaszak of Chicago University by a 3-1 decision.

Loht is looking to become the first Mifflin County wrestler to win a national championship at any level since Warren Stewart (Lewistown) won the Division II national title for Liberty back in 1988 at 142 pounds.
