Matt Brown to Face Andrew Howe at All-Star Classic

Penn State All-American and NCAA runnerup Matt Brown will face Andrew Howe of Oklahoma at the NWCA All-Star Classic on November 7th in the 174-pound match.

During the 2012-2013 season, Brown entered the Penn State starting lineup full time and recorded a 29-5 overall record and claimed his first individual Big Ten title at 174 lbs. At the NCAA championships, Brown, a redshirt junior made a 4-1 run to claim second place and earned his first All-American honors. He was 27-2 as freshman, backing up Ed Ruth at 174.

Howe is a three-time All-American who boasts a career record of 94-8 while at Wisconsin. The redshirt senior transferred to Oklahoma after taking an Olympic redshirt in 2012. He was a 2010 NCAA national champion at 165 pounds.
