Mifflin County 51, CD East 15

The Mifflin County wrestling team made its Mid-Penn debut a memorable one by crushing Central Dauphin East 51-15  Thursday evening at the Husky gymnasium.

Mifflin County ended the evenings festivities early, claiming victory in ten of the 14 bouts. The Huskies picked up bonus points galore with six falls, a technical fall, and a major decision.

Hayden Hidlay (113), Noah Stewart (126), Lucas Besch (132), Brandon Wilson (145), Darion Pierce (160), and Kyle Kahley won by fall. Daulton Wilson won by tech fall, while Isaac Underhill won by a 10-2 major. Kevin Bair (138) and Joe Knarr (152) picked up decision wins.

Mifflin County is now 6 – 1 and 1 – 0 in the Mid – Penn Commonwealth Division and will participate in the King of the Mountain Tournament Friday and Saturday at the Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall.

Central Dauphin East is 0 – 1 on the season and 0 – 1 in conference play.
