Mifflin County Set to Meet Parkland in PIAA Duals

| February 5, 2013 | 0 Comments

Nobody said it was going to be easy for Mifflin County. You can expect no free rides at the PIAA State Dual Meet Championships.

The Huskies (16-5) will face District 11 powerhouse Parkland in the first round of the state duals after the Trojans disposed of Wilson (West Lawn) 38-18 in a play-in match.

Parkland, the District 11 runner-up to Easton, is 14-3 on the season and ranked fifth in the state by PA Power Rankings. The Trojans feature seven wrestlers who are state ranked.

Action begins on Thursday, February 7, at 6 pm.

I will have a complete preview of the matchup on Thursday morning.
