Penn State Gets Commitments from Two Studs of 2018 Class

After being unusually quiet on the recruiting trail this year, Penn State coach Cael Sanderson made a big splash on the Class of 2018 recruiting trail.

With Joe Lee of Indiana already on board, the Nittany Lions dominated the wrestling news today when Travis Wittlake of Oregon and Roman Bravo-Young of Arizona, committed to wrestle for Penn State.

That gives Sanderson three top 10 commits from the 2018 class – Wittlake (No. 4), Bravo-Young (No. 5) and Lee (No. 10).

Wittlake is a 2x state champion, a cadet national champion and a bronze medalist at the Cadet Worlds. Wittlake is projected to wrestle at 174/184 in college.

Bravo-Young is a two-time state champ, a two-time cadet national titlist and a NHSCA champion. Bravo-Young will wrestle 125/133 at Penn State.

Lee is a state champ will projects at 141/149 at the next level. He will join his brother Nick, who is a 2017 recruit for Penn State.
