Penn State Tops Latest USA Today/NWCA/AWN Poll

Penn State regained its preseason position of number one this week in the latest USA Today/NWCA/ Amateur Wrestling News Coaches poll.

The Nittany Lions received nine first place votes to take back the top spot after previous number one Minnesota lost to Oklahoma State 22-15.

The Cowboys moved to no. 2, while the Gophers fell to third. Rounding out the top five are Ohio State (one first place vote) and Iowa.

Penn State is also ranked first in the Intermat TPI poll.
