Stewart Makes Big Jump in Rankings, Hartsock Debuts

The latest PA Power Rankings are out and Mifflin County’s Noah Stewart (11-2) made a huge jump at 152 after an impressive performance at King of the Mountain.

The sophomore moved from No. 21 all the way up to No. 6. Franklin Regional’s Josh Shields holds down the top spot, while Altoona’s D.J. Hollingshead, a district rival, is third.

Hayden Hidlay (10-0) and Isaac Underhill (6-3) each moved up a notch at 138 and 145 respectively. Hidlay is now N0. 4 and Underhill cracks the top ten at No. 10. Franklin Regional’s Michael Kemerer is No. 1 at 138, while defending state champ Solomon Chishko of Canon-McMillan is the top gun at 145.

Sophomore Trey Hartsock (182)  debuted in the rankings at No. 16, thanks to an eighth-place finish at KOM. Hartsock is 9-4 on the season.

Also, Andrew Brown of Harrisburg, the Huskies opponent tonight, is down to 220 pounds. The senior is ranked 22nd in the state at his new weight.

160: T.C. Warner, Cumberland Valley, 12th

For those keeping track, District 3 and 7 combined have 13 of the 14 top-ranked wrestlers. District 7 has nine at the top and District 3 has four. District 9 is the outsider with Sleigh ranked first.
