Warwick Duals Preview

The Mifflin County wrestling team opens up the 2017-18 season on Saturday at the Warwick Duals.

The Huskies join Mount Union, Warwick, West Perry, Manheim Township, West Chester Rustin, and Strath Haven in the dual meet tournament.

Mifflin County opens with Strath Haven and if victorious, faces Manheim Township in the semifinals. The Huskies will be without the services of Joey Taptich, a regional qualifier a year ago. Taptich broke his hand in practice this week and will be out 5-8 weeks. Junior Josh Snook steps into the starting job at 126.

Dylan Grassmyer (195) broke his thumb during football season and is still a week away from being cleared to wrestle.

126: Josh Snook, Jr.

170: Anthony Fultz, Sr.
182: Trent Hidlay, Sr.
195: Jacob Krepps, So.
220: Kross Todaro, Sr.
285: Bronson Smith-Price, So.
